how can I stop my thumb twitching?

Its been driving me bananas since last night. Its a very visible and very frequent twitch and went on through the night and still going.

I'm convinced that its an overuse thing after battling with a screwdriver and a recalcitrant screw for over an hour yesterday. My hand aches, my arm muscles ache and even the muscles in my back around the arm ache.

Is there anything I can do to stop it please, I keep thinking there must be some massage point or something that would sort it out.

hmm I would be a little worried now if it was me
could you nip to the gp
you may have damaged a nerve or something

not that I know what I'm talking about or anyhting but just to bump till someone sensible come along

I am a teeny bit concerned but I'm not sure what a gp could do really, I expect its just a bit of swelling or something. It seems to be worse if I bend my elbow in certain positions. Might try some ibuprofen to see if it reduces any swelling.

Sounds like this: I get twitchy muscles at times too.
