I'm 24. 2 kids dd is 3 and ds is 2.

Had 1 smear when dd was 3mths old I think. All was well.

Just wondering when I should go for my next one?

I have irregular periods which do be painful but thats all..

If it is 2 years and 9 months since your last one and you live in England, then you are likely to receive your invite letter within the next few weeks. If in doubt your surgery should be able to tell you when it's due as they have access to the database which records the test dates.

Thanks, my 1st smear was in France where I lived at the time, I'm now in the UK.

Ah well in that case - screening doesn't start here until you're 25. You would usually be invited a few months before your 25th birthday. The system works off your registration at the GPs though, so you need to be signed up there for your information to be on the database. The NHS CSP has a useful website here
