Shoes too tight?

DisasterEggs · 10/04/2009 17:38

now, i did wear shoes a bit too tight a few weeks ago but they hurt so i haven't since. would it still be that?

it is throbbing now.

Do you have bunions?
My big toes often feel a bit numb and tingly. I wouldn't really worry. Maybe some inflammation (hence the throbbing) around the joint which is affecting the nerve a bit therefore causing a bit of tingling/odd sensations.

DisasterEggs · 10/04/2009 17:42

so probably not leprosy then?

Mine do this and it is just bad circulation.

Sorry - I wandered away. No. On balance, I feel leprosy is unlikely. Assuming you are in the UK of course and not in some remote part of the world.

How are the tingly toes today?

how numb? if you run it under hot water/cold water, can you tell the difference?

hoarsewhisperer · 14/04/2009 08:28

i had this a couple of years ago after a night out on very high heels. wore off after about 2 weeks, but had a really numb feeling in two of my toes. apparently caused by nerve compression from teh shoes....

mrsmaidamess · 14/04/2009 08:30

I have had this from badly fitting (i.e.too big) trainers.

noddyholder · 14/04/2009 08:33

I have this and have just been diagnosed with vit b12 deficiency!

loujay · 14/04/2009 08:35

could be a trapped nerve. I trapped my sciatic nerve and had numb toes for about 3 months
