I keep having massive spots on my lady bits! Actually on the mound bit where most of the hair is IYKWIM

Ive had 3 in the last 6 months, it doesnt seem to make any difference if I remove hair or not (use a cream, not sure if thats relevant). They are like big water filled blisters (like a big spot youd get on your face). I dont squeeze them for fear of infection, they become less swollen and disappear within a week or so. Only seem to have one at a time, Im not covered in them. Could they be ingrowing hairs or something or are they just normal spots. Its not something Ive had before

Anyone know what this is??

Sounds like ingrowing hairs. I get them sometimes in the crease of my leg, very swollen.
I squeeze and put on tea tree oil or savlon, if that's not TMI!

they are really red and swollen, like a huge spot. Do you think I should squeeze it then? dh said he would but he'd squeeze anything, anywhere!!

Have you changed your sanitary protection lately? Could you have become allergic to the bleach etc. in towels / liners??

InTheScrum · 09/04/2009 15:52

I'm a squeezer! (Only of my own spots though. Can't think of anything worse than squeezing other peoples!)
If you're worried about infection, use a couple of cotton buds instead of fingers, or wrap your fingers in tissues.

Nope although it has only started since I had my coil removed (hmm never thought of that) and am now pg
Could it be hormonal changes (like getting crap skin before periods and when pg etc)
