experiences with gabapentin for tendonitis

DH has been prescribed gabapentin for tendonitis or nerve related pain - doc does not seem to be sure what exactly is causing pain in arm. anyone experienced it. thanks

I had carbemazapene for trigeminal neuralgia. I could tolerate 200mg, but any more left me sick and dizzy.

I think Pregabalin is supposed to have less side effects?

I think all these drugs are used as a diagnostic tool as well? If you respond well to the drug, then your pain is a malfunctioning nerve - if the pain persists through the drug, then it may be something else.
