Having problems with periods post coil - am worried

I was warned my periods would be heavy (which they are). Had coil since October - periods been lasting 10-14 days (arrgh!) very heavy for 5-7 of those days...started last period March 14th lasted till March 28th and now just started again - am sick of this. its not the mirena. Have indigestion a lot and feel bloated (am overweight tho). Am going to get it removed i think. Anyone else had similar probs?

I had very similar experiences - decided coil was not for me. However, when I had it taken out they said it was wonky and this might have been why it was horid [lots of pain too - ou in any pain?]

Have you tried the implant at all? I had trouble with som many contraceptives but love the implant
