Sharp pain in right breast, like a needle....

Has anyone experienced anything similar and know what it might be? I had it on Monday, then it went away but came back this morning. I think I felt a lump which is slightly painful when I press it, but am really unsure of how to do a proper exam and what to be concerned about.

It is like poking a needle into the breast.

I tried to go to doc today, but thanks to the crap system here in Canada, it's a walk in only FI-FS, so I have to try again first thing tomorrow for an appointment.

Thanks

Anyone??

I have been to the doc this am and have been referred for a CT and a biopsy. It's a 3cmx4cm "lump". Hoping it's a cyst, but further tests to make sure.

What happens at a biopsy, how long does it take, do they normally remove a cyst if it is just that? Any advice would be appreciated.

A bit teary, but trying to Keep calm and carry on, and all that.

Sorry you're going through this. I haven't got anything useful to add, but thought I'd bump this for you.
