My DS(1 year) has had conjunctivitis 3 times in the last month and a bit. This time started a week and a bit ago. I gave him the drops I had and GP said ok, but get new if they didn't work. After two-three days and still there I decided to try some homeopathic drops someone reccommended. But then eventually got new drops (same as before) from GP which I started Friday and by Sunday I thought it was gone. Nothing during the day. Still continued drops until last night. And guess what! This morning it seemed to be back! I am now on my own. DH on bussiness trip. Giving drops are a nightmare. I had twice a day once, but might use different ones. Seeing GP later. Any reccomendations? Some ay the ointment is better, but seems difficult to get in on my own. Never tried though... HELP

Well my DS had conjuctivitus and I was given an ointment by the GP. GP said not to worry about getting it into the eye just to smear all across the eyelashes. I think you hav to use it for 7 days but it is very contagious so keep washing the towels etc on at least a 60 degree wash. Good luck

Thanks. Just seen GP who hardly noticed anything unusual in his eye, just a bit red in one of them. She thought it might be viral conjuntivitis which can take a month to clear! Hope it doesn't get worse. In new job so don't want to take time off work. Waiting for swab test results.
