Am I having a miscarriage?

Have just been to the loo and I have some bleeding. Im not due on for over a week and I have never been early in my life. The bleeding doesnt seem the same as a period. Im a little concerned. Have had flu all week and have been in bed the whole time so its not like I have had any knocks of falls.
I have been sleeping with someone so there is a chance I could be pregnant but we have been using contraception so I am a little confused in that sense.

Does anyone know whats wrong or what I should do?

just sounds like you're having your period early- could be due to a number of things. If you're worried at all go see your GP.

a mc hurts IME, anyway, and lots of blood.

Have you been using barrier methods (condoms?) rather than just a pill, especially if he is a new partner.

Is there a lot of bleeding? Could it be implantation bleeding and you're actually pg?

What contraception were you using?

Yeh we used a condom. I dont trust the pill as I have fallen pregnant on it before.

This isnt lots of blood, I do not want to be pregnant. It would be a disaster.

Sorry to over react slightly. It just startled me a little and I wasnt sure if i should be worried or not.

ummmmm, if you had a particularly good time you could have bashed your cervix? That would be a small amount of blood.

It could be early period, especially if you have been ill or something it can mess them up a bit.

Hmm condoms can fail... I'm presuming you're too late for the MAP?

yeh, I havent had sex for a week or 2. Perhaps I will just leave it and see how things go. I dont want another child now. I have 2 and need to finish my degree.
Im sure people are reading this thinking Im stupid for risking getting pregnant again as I have 2 under 2 but we were using precautions and if I am I have to be the most unlucky person in the world in regards to contraception.

If it helps, I get my period early when I get flu/viruses, and it does feel different to a normal period. Go and get checked out if you're worried though.

Hope it's all ok. I don't think you were being irresponsible at all. You were using contraception. Only abstinence is totally 100% and who'd do that?
