Right stupid baby question but?????

DD2 has been a royal pain in the butt for a few days now - looks to have about 400 teeth busting through coupled with a bad cold (sounds like Eartha Kitt) but tonight she has been really unsettled and has now got blood tinged boogies. Not a nose bleed just red snot! My gut feeling is fine just inflammed membranes etc. But is there anything else I should be thinking about? Temp is currently (well last time she was up about 30 mins ago) 40.8. She is pale but generally alright still whinging which I always take to be a good thing - just wondered?

if she isnt showing any interest and nhs direct havent called you back yet take her to a and e babe. Not too scare you but that temp is too high, she is listless and not herself - check her reactions to light if poss - if she flinches strongly or doesnt react at all get her to see someone. poor wee thing - good luck and i so hope she gets better soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Gomez, she will feel better soon but in the mean time keep trying to lower the temperature. Good luck, please let us know how it goes.

Have you checked her for a rash? Is she averse to looking at the light?

A&E is an excellent idea.

if she still has a soft spot, check it to make sure it is not bulging

hey just a quick one to see how everything is today?

Thanks again. Tonsilitis , spent last night and most of today at the hospital to ensure her temp was down and would stay down otherwise she is not too bad, drinking absolute gallons of cold water - must be soothing for her. So pleased it was nothing more sinister but I am franly amazed that something so benign could have made her so poorly last night. Right anyway of to watch Dr Who.
