Multiple Allergies

My son jayden has multiple allergies, he had his first Anaphylaxis shock when he was eight months old and since then he has eight more to deal with. The shocks arn't the only problems in our live though. Not only is it hard finding the right foods for Jayden but it is hard to get him into a playgroup, nursery or school state and private. They all have there own policies and don't want the additional costs as they would have bring in a extra staff member just to deal with Jayden. Can anybody tell me if they have gone through this and if so what did they do? Thank You.

Hi,

There is a separate allergy section, you might get more replies in there.

My son has multiple allergies as well. We haven't had any problem finding a nursery willing to take him. Our allergy specialist sent a nurse to train the nursery nurses in dealing with allergies, they certainly don't need an extra staff member just for him.

Where abouts in the country are you?

What is your son allergic to?
