Folliculitis? what does it look like?

Does it look like a huge rash from neck to knee with thousands of tiny tiny red spots and high like a cheese grater? No pus, not white, no leak?

Thanks both. And excuse my double posting, but I need to preapare my speech with care as we are in Spain and I speak very little spanish, which makes everything difficult. (folliculitis is the same word in Spanish, I wrote it down and showed it to GP, so I of it). I'll call again, thanks, and no izzybis it doesn't look like keratosis as DS has no yellow/pus bump, but It was woth a look. So where is the phone....

It's possible but rashes are the one thing that never be accurately diagnosed without seeing them. You can have a good idea but you can't tell for sure.

both keratosis pilaris and folliculitis have different forms and appearances. In your other post you mentioned your son had had chickenpox. It may also be a post-viral rash. If you are worried you need to go back to your GP for them to have a look - and be honest with them about your concerns and tell them what YOU think it is. The internet is not the best place to get this information.
