Has anyone actually had sclerotherapy?

...friend has had it (on her legs- thighs) - had to wear support tights for quite a while. She said the procedure felt like someone flicking her with elastic bands- not nice but bearable. It actually took two sesions and about 6 weeks to see a significant difference, the veins are about gone (some remain if you look hard enough), she could have had more sessions but was happy enough so has opted to save money! She is very happy with results she will now go to the swimming pool !!!

of course- didn't think it was for you for a minute anyway, hope you (your friend )get some answers and if you go ahead, you get the results you want

(.....should i also be pointing out to check qualifications of who does it, check with GP etc... etc..?!! )
