Anti natal depression?

I don't know where to post this but here goes. In the last month this is how i have been feeling;

Feel tired with little energy.

Loss of appitite

Feel over protective of my baby (2nd baby)

Anxious

Feel like i am putting on a front to people.

Feel lonely and isolated.

Feel overwhelmed sometimes.

Loss of interest to do basic tasks around the home.

Loss of libido.

Feel guilty and feel like i am a bad mother.

Physical pain is tummy ache and nausea.

My baby is 10 and a half weeks old. I must add i had the controceptive implant on the 17th Feb, i thought this was because of that? I am not so sure now. Could this be anti natal depression?

Could be postnatal depression. Did the feelings start when you had the implant? It could be a reaction to the hormones. Do you have a nice GP or HV you could talk to? Tbh, a lot of the things you list sound like perfectly normal feelings when you have such a young baby, particularly if you have another child to look after, but if you are worried that you don't feel like yourself then do try and talk to someone

Don't want this to go un noticed.

Have you spoken with your MW? Or HV?
It could be post natal depression, or it could be the implant I guess.

I had similar symptoms after dd1 and it was PND.

Well, i had the implant mid-Feb and the things i listed started this month although i have felt over protective of my baby since birth. I was never over protective of my dd. It's like, when someone is holding my baby, i just want to grab him off them and say "give me my baby back"

I can't stand my HV but my dovtor is nice. It's hard getting an appointment with her though because she works part time and so the appointments fill up fast.
