What I thought was thrush....

Wonder if anyone has any ideas. On Tuesday i had the beginings of what I thought was thrush - white discharge, itchy and feeling rather inflamed. Had a fluwotsit in the cupboard and some canesten cream, so took tablet and used cream. Couple of days later the itch had really improved, but still felt sore. Yesterday I still had a bit of discharge and at times it was very slightly brown - as if old blood. Today still feels sore (itch has practically gone) but had very slight brownish discharge.

It was the brownish discharge that seemed unusual for thrush. The thing is I have forgotten when my period is due - something I rarely do! I think it is due next Saturday.

Is it thrush? Is the very slight brownish dishcarge ok? I'm not talking major bleeding!

hi ive suffered with thrush loads and i symapthyse with you. I havent had brownish discharge with it before I have to say, is it possible you have scratched the itchy area, made it bleed, and this is whats showing up as a discharge?

also is there any chance you could be pregnant as i got this slight brownish tinge discharge when i was 1st preg, i think they call it 'implantation bleed', or could it be somethign to do with ovulating?

hope u get some answers!

Thanks for replies ...Don't think I'm pregnant. Blimey don't think I could cope with that what with 4dc and a puppy!!

Only had sex about twice this month (so knackered) and used condoms both times.

It seems to have stopped now - just sore. I'll keep an eye on it though.

Crikey I'm worrying now. I really couldn't cope with a 5th...
