is it normal to have sensitive teeth after an extraction ?

I had a tooth taken out last week and for a few days after,the tooth next to the socket hurt if you pressed on it. It's OK now though......

yeah the sensitive toothpaste is great. I thought all my teeth needed to be filled cause they hurt whenever i ate anything sweet -turned out they were sensitive
