Tiny lump on my cervix

So i was having a good feel about at the position of my cervix today....as you do and i can feel a little lump next to the opening. I don't remember it being there when i have felt before but it has been a few months. I had an erpc a couple of months ago so i was wondering whether it could be a bit of damage caused by that. Instincts tell me it's nothing to worry about but just wondered whether anyone has had anything similar or knows what it might be. Can just imagine having that conversation with my gp !!!

Please, please, please do go to the doctors for lumps on cervix. Most will be benign cysts or polyps but the odd one wont. I had one such abnormal lump which was a polyp that was attached further up into my womb. It was biopsied as a mullerian adenosarcoma and I have just had a total hysterectomy with tube remoaval as a result. The biopsy of my womb and cervix are thankfully clear, but if I hadn't been onto it as quickly as I was my prognosis could have been a lot worse.

Hi - This thread seems to get attention every few years and I am posting because I am sure more women will eventually find this...
Ledkr - Do not feel inadequate. In fact the vagina is self cleansing so actually it is better to allow it to do its own cleaning. I would recommend however, placing two fingers gently inside to see what your cervix feels like. Its amazing to get to know your body! Then you will be able to know what is 'normal' for you and what are the changes.

I hope Mrs is ok.
Hi, Im new, and came a cross this post when searching lumps on cervixs. I must say, I feel a little better but I still made an appt. I too clean up there once in a blue moon especially after mentral cycle. Its perfectly normal to self check, its actually recommened. No one knows your body more than you do. :)

I found my lump on my cervix back in oct or sep 2015 and has a smear doc said all is clear. I was scared bc the yr bfor i came a hair from cervical cancer. Test results were cin3. I was so scared it came back and turned into tumors. I didnt realy believe the doc that everything was ok but i feel better now after reading all of these. I just recently started the bleeding after intercourse too. Id say its about the size of a peanut but perfectly round and hard. Glad to know im not the only one that checks inside.

So glad I found this. I checked my coil, as you do, and found a lump, I'm terrified to tell my DP, he's had loads of family issues, I think I'll pop to the Dr's and have it checked out😳

I'm 17 weeks pregnant, started sporting 1 week ago, still on bed rest though. Was washing up and tried inserting my finger, to my greatest shock, found pea size lumps on my cervix. I'm kinda freaking out... Please any experience or idea on what to think?

Hi Ladies,

Many grandmothers here are known as a Mimi, but my name is also MiMi. I'm not sure where most of you must live, but the accent is as different as mine. Yes, I'm a grandmother, and I find that most of you are young mothers. :-)

The thing is this: I searched Pea size knot on my cervix. Then Google brought right here, where you girly girls are all chatting of the same, or similar issue.

I don't care what age good advice comes from, I was worried, a little. It happens, I too was "washing, " when I found the knot. Considering the possibilities, I was not about to put it off. I called the clinic the next day, today. My appointment will be on Thursday.

Funny things is, now I expect I know most of what she will likely say: How did you find it :-/ and, or followed by - I can't find anything, but it was likely only a cyst.

The point is, yes, most ladies do wash inside. Some without soap as directed, others just haven't heard- soap can ruin our natural occurring protective fluids. Still, I will continue to wash, and to take stock of my physical being. Meaning, we should be aware if there's a growth today, that wasn't there before. When we do notice a change, we should go to the hassle of calling for the appointment so the Dr can check and be certain it's nothing. Earlier is better.

I also want to say thanks for the light humor and the goodness of your heart that led of you to post helpful content on this page. It goes back to 2011. Even now, the information is a great bit of advice and support.

Yes ma'am, even at 62 women want and need to know... everything. ha. That's what makes us women. :-)

So, thanks ya'll, Now, I too will be a whole lot less nervous- wondering what might be.

Actually, I'm thanking God these bumps will clear away yukky things that aren't needed. Amen.

I’m so glad you posted about this! I’m not shy about being in touch with my own body, but I totally respect those who are. I don’t feel particularly comfortable with male doctors but I do have a male OBGYN. I had a CT done last Monday to check my kidney (a few benign tumors we’re just monitoring) and I had a little nose bleed which is abnormal for me. Then I had some spotting which is definitely out of the ordinary for me. I never spot between periods. I chalked it up to the CT and how the contrast dye makes blood flow better. I also felt unbearably hot for this one when they injected the dye. Anyway, after the spotting, I had a little feel around since I used to check my cervix when I was TTC so I knew it could tell me a lot of things about what might be going on and I might be able to tell if I should be concerned or not. I planned on getting a pap soon anyway. I found a lump about the size of a marble on my cervix. My dr wants to check me for some kind of sclerosis that causes benign tumors to pop up in my body so we shall see. But that could be it or it could be a Nabothian cyst. I have an appt Thursday with my dr. 🤞🏼

Omg!! Glad you guys discussed this, I just recently could feel a very tiny bump on my cervix with the tip of my middle finger and was freaking out, every google post talks about genital warts! I'm going to have doctor check it out for sure, but atleast this gives me a little piece of mind!
