TMI alert... I have just been to the toilet (wee wee) and there was blood on the toilet paper after I wiped!!! DS is only a month old today and I am fully breast feeding him, surely this can not be a period??? Should I go to GP to check everything is ok with the stitches and everything??

Nope fraid not

It was a great reason for bfing according to the MW's i spoke to before i had the dc's.

Could it be more lochia perhaps?

gigglewitch · 21/03/2009 23:03

would get checked out - just to reassure yourself. Having said that, I bled for about six weeks on and off after dc3, (had much less with the others) so i was like as it kept stopping and starting.

I had stopped bleeding about a week ago so dont think so.... It could be a good excuse to rest up and not do any house work though because a return of lochia could be a sign I had been overdoing it couldnt it? I wonder how dp would feel about that!!
