I can barely keep my eyes open now but couldn't fall asleep at 7 (when I would like too ocassionally)

I just want to eat when I feel so tired as I think it might give me energy?

im so with you on that. when we go to bed at 11ish, after sorting out dinner, cleaning up, getting the baby sorted etc, im so wound up it takes me ages to fall asleep! the other night i was tossing and turning til 3am! then lo and behold the baby wakes for a feed at 4. sigh.
i think our bodies release chemicals when we get over-tired to help keep us awake and somewhat alert, so then when we finally find an opportunity to nab some kip its impossible to switch off due to said hormoney chemicals swimming around.
perhaps the generating of these chemicals burns some calories, which is why you feel hungry...then again im not a doctor so i could just be making all this up!

I am going to walk the whole way to school and back in the hope that the exercise will wake me up.
