Fibroids and bleeding after childbirth...

I gave birth to DS by C-Section on January 3rd but I'm still bleeding... on occasions quite heavily. I have two fibroids and my GP seemed to think this is what is causing the bleeding. However when asked whether this bleeding would stop she was rather non-committal.

The bleeding (along with newborn baby!) is making me exhausted and I'd love to think it might stop at some point!

Anyone have any experience of fibroids causing bleeding after childbirth?

I see this is still unanswered so am replying. I'm no expert and haven't heard about this bleeding happeneing but if it is worrying you and you're still bleeding 2 months later enough to cause exhaustion - then I'd get down to the Doctors again. Are you in a joint practice? Can you see a different Doctor? (When you book your appointment you can usually ask to see Dr X and they shouldn't ask why as long as you are flexible).
