FOR A WHILE NOW I HAVE BEEN FEELING CONSTANTLY COLD, ALWAYS SAYING IT'S FREEZING WHEN EVERYONE ELSE IS FINE. SOMEONE SUGGESTED TO ME THAT IT COULD BE AN UNDERACTIVE THYROID SO I FOUND OUT WHAT SOME OF THE OTHER SYMPTOMS ARE AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE SOME OF THEM, THERE ARE LOTS THAT I DON'T HAVE. I HAVE BEEN VERY TIRED AND LETHARGIC AND ALTHOUGH I HAVN'T PUT MUCH WEIGHT ON I AM FINDING IT VERY HARD TO LOSE. ANOTHER SYMPTOM IS DRY SKIN BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS IS REFERING TO, MY FACE IS FINE BUT HANDS ARE VERY DRY (ALSO HAIR IS LIKE STRAW)HAS ANYONE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH THIS AND IS IT JUST A BLOOD TEST THAT'S NEEDED? CAN ANYONE HELP WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL?

Vixen, diagnosis is by a simple blood test that your doctor can do. There has been a recent discussion here on the subject and a search of the site would bring up other threads, I think. HTH.
