Ive got a sticky eye...do I need to get something for it or will water do?

Yesterday evening I noticed one of my eyes had gone all gunky and this morning it was stuck together when I woke up and my eyes have a really tired feel about them, like Ive been in a smoky room. Is this sticky eye or conjuncitivus, they are not red. Can I get something from the chemist or just wash out with cooled boiled water?

Tea bag over eye or camomille tea bag... helps draw out the gunk and refreshes

sounds like conjunctivitis. Bathe twice a day with cooled boiled water. If this doesnt make a difference in 2-3 days go to GP who will prescribe a cream to clear it up.

Never heard of the tea bag one, do you do it whilst its still a bit warm or run cold water through it?
