At 6pm I took 2 Votlarol tablets, for my Fibro pain and toothache. Then at 8pm I took 2 Solpadene (in the absence of anything stronger).
I haven't any left, so can i take Ibuprofen instead at 10pm?

what's in the solpadene?

Voltarol and Ubuprofen are both Anti-inflammatory medication - ideally you should have about 6-8 hours between doses - however if you havn't had any other anti-inflammatory's earlier today ibuprofen at 10-11pm will be OK as a one off as long as you don't take any more until morning.

Could take paracetamol during the night if you had to.

Sorry - I got engrossed in the ironing.
The solpadene has paracetamol, codeine and caffeine in.
I had ibuprofen at 8am, does that make a difference

Hello,

You mention fibro pain. PAIN is caused by something. What is the root cause? Pouring medication down you is like adding fuel to the fire - there is bound to be a bad effect from so much.
Please feel free to contact me. I am not a doctor and therefore have an open mind!
