I've been getting really bad burning pains that come ago in the vagina. Sometimes the pain is quite high up and sometimes it feels sorta round the opening - how accurate this is I don't know. The burning ranges from a little irritating to bein quite sharp - after I wee it stings. I've tested postive for Group B Strep recently and I'm just panicking. I also get the odd shooting pain inside the vagina.

Also, I'm 6 days late for my period. So far this year I have only had one period. Had a pelvic scan recently to detect anything that might be causing this and had blood tests but all came back normal.

In light of the whole smear test importance, I went for one but was refused as I'm 23, nearly 24.

What could this be?

Im no help but bumping for you, hope someone useful comes along.

Only thing I can think of is ask for a second opinion, I had to insist on a referal to a consultant for a gynae problem and I needed an op so def worth being 'forceful' if your worried.
