My friends Dad has dementia....can anyone advice of any forums where she can chat to others going through this?

She is really finding it hard to come to terms with. Her Mum is also suffering and is struggling to look after her Dad.

Does anyone know of any forums or site where she can chat to people who are going through this?

Sorry to hear your friend is going through this. My mum has early-onset dementia (she's 66 and now requiring continuous care) so I know only too well how hard it is for the sufferer and the rest of the family. I don't know of any forums so I'm bumping this for the lunchtime crowd, and would also suggest she contacts her local branch of the Alzheimer's society who may be able to help with local info or groups.
