breast screening due to high risk with family history

i have had several appointments to see the family history clinic at local hospital where i have already seen the genetisist and given all my family history, we discussed having early screening at 40, but now they have sent for me again to come in and see the family history clinic for mammographic surveillance, i am bricking it, i am only 35 so wasn't aware i was being called back this early.

Anybody had any experience of this and do you know what the appointment entails, i have to go later.

Here is the breast cancer support thread. I'm sure you will find others who are or have gone through something similar.

Lots of us are quite young!
