Pain in joints and other stuff

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any idea about joint pain - mainly in the hips. I have some pain in the knees and in the lower back, sometimes very sharp painful twinges. The pain in the hips seems to be getting worse and I have also had diarrhea for the last while. I had xrays of my pelvis last year and had some blood tests taken and did not hear back from the doc. It's been getting worse and worse and have booked another appointment with the docs but wondering if anyone here had any advice. Could it be a dietary thing?

not too sure mucha, but when my mum had unexplained diarrhea it turned out to be her gall bladder as her body was having trouble processing fats. her doc kept telling her it was stress related irritable bowel - but he was wrong, she had stones in her gall bladder and had to have an op to remove it.

chase up the blood tests with the doc as soon as you can and maybe go for some more.

messymissy - I had a gall bladder op recently and I had diarrhea and also severe aching joints before it.

It is the inability to process fat as you say. I could bever get my doctor to acknowledge the pain but it was there and reduced significantly after the operation.

Crikey, I had no idea that it could be something to do with the gallbladder. I have gained at least a stone in the last year and suffering from a lot of depression. I had thought that maybe I was intolerant to wheat or something like that, as I tend to crave bread.

Carving cardnohydrae is common in cases of gal bladder stones. The backing up of bile in the gall bladder eventually iritaes the pancreas and then it emits insulin that causes your blood sugar to crash and then you naturally want to eat carbs to get blood sugar back up.

I put on a stone as well.

I suggest you have an insulin check done which is quick and easy at the GP with a urine dip test. I did not show anything unusual but you may do.

Thats:

'Craving carbohydrate'.

Just in case you could not understand my typing.

Thank you for that advice. I have an appointment booked for next week so hopefully the doc takes it seriously. I can't bear this pain any more!
