Sorry, could be...my DD2 had very mild CP at 11 weeks and was told she my well get it again, though have to say, two more sibblings have since had it and she has been fine.
Lets just hope it's a cold

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 06/03/2009 12:18

Even if you've had CP it could be shingles. Any pain at all? If you get a rash or any blisters I would get to a doctor asap.

Shingles can be very very painful and CP very dangerous, so maybe best to er on the side of caution.

Hope you're ok

Second what youknownothing said.
My husband developed cpox in his 30's , went straight to docs and was given antivirals to lessen his misery. He still felt like s**t for two weeks.
Please go to docs.

Could well be

Its really rife this year! I know it happens every early spring but having now had nine springs with a dd I can safely say that it seems extra prevalent this time. Was supposed to be having a child over this afternoon as a favour but her mum has cancelled cos the brother has come out with cp so she may as well pick up her dd from school.

I am hoping this will be they year my dd gets it!

Anyway, I hope that its just a cold or that you are super at fighting it off so you feel fab in a few hours.

plusonemore · 06/03/2009 12:47

yes yes go now! the antivirals have to be given within 24 hrs so quiiiiick DH had them couple of years ago and was so poorly, couldnt do anything and he is never ill

plusonemore · 06/03/2009 12:47

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/03/2009 08:06

Enquiring minds would like to know

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/03/2009 08:07

But of course, if you are poorly then you should be in bed getting better

BCNS · 07/03/2009 20:49

I'm beginning to wonder if dd is going down with it. Theres so much about and shes not herslef today - flushed, tired, no appetite to the point of only eating half a fresh chocolate eclair summat is up, just waiting for the nature of the beast!
