Slightly personal question but - how long does your PMT last before you come on?

This month is very strange, have had hideous PMT since Tuesday, but I still haven't started my period!

Is this because of the Mirena coil or just weird, prekids PMT meant period would start within 24 hours, or is this normal and what I ahd before strange?

About 5-7 days! DH just loves me!

A week on the nose.

Period due in a week's time and can feel it already - headachey, tired, hot, sugar cravings.

Oh, joy.

cocolepew · 06/03/2009 09:38

About 7 days. I'm a joy to live with.

JackBauer · 06/03/2009 09:42

God, really?

DC's must have just 'fixed' mine then. At least when I do come on the PMT goes, I just feel tired but not homicidal.

I wonder if I could get ad hoc childcare for a few days a month to save DD@s from scarymummy...

Yep, about a week, sometimes longer TBH, always been like that.

I'm really quite surprised by this, anyone else only have a few days of PMT or is a week the norm?

I'm delighted with the timeliness of this question, I've had mine for more than a week now and I am like the devil to live with that the mo ! I was just thinking this morning, how much longer than I be weepy/irratable/bloated/spotty/ and downright miserable for FGS !!!!!

If anyone has less than a week, be grateful
