Night sweats before/during period

Since I had DS a year ago, most months a few days before my period starts I get night sweats. I'm 37 and still ovulating (currently checking each month as trying for no2) so I assume this is not menopause. The sweats can go on during my period as well and then disappear completely until the next month.

Anyone else have this or know what causes it? GP did a load of blood tests and all came back normal.

I had this too after I had DD2. they started quite soon after I had her and lasted for about 2 years, maybe longer. They stopped as suddenly as they started. It was very odd but I knew that the next day my period would start.
I didn't go for tests, bit I too am still ovulating. I decided it was just my hormones having a crisis after DD2.

your body temperature rises before and during a period. Not sure why you are noticing it more than before - maybe since having had DS your body is working at a slightly higher temperature.
