I'd be grateful to hear of anyone's experiences/advice. My mum is in her 80's and was put on Amiodarone 18 months ago. She was on a higher dose temporarily years ago, which gave her extremely vivd dreams. She is also on a concoction of other drugs.
During the last couple of months she has been awoken at night by what feels like someone poking her tummy/shoulder/leg. It doesn't happen every night, but is getting more regular. Understandably she is scared, and is therefore not sleeping.
Although in her 80's, she is sharp, still playing bridge and going out with friends, but this is really causing problems. She lives with us (has done for the past 6 years), without anything like this happening before.
