Is it normal to have really tender breasts when I've come off the mini pill?

I came off the mini pill for various reasons (cerazette) and my breasts are really tender. I didn't think this would happen?

Didn't want to leave you unanswered.
I didn't get this myself. Is there any chance you could be pg?
But equally it may be a case of your hormones trying to get back to their natural state

JumpingDizzy · 02/03/2009 11:39

I don't think it's possible I'm pg? Dp had the snip although we just put his sperm sample in to make sure it's clear.
Also just had a period before I stopped the pill and it was normal.

I do have a pregnancy test in the bathroom cupboard so will do that to make sure. Hope not though as dp is 53 with a grown dd and I have 2 boys. We certainly don't want another baby although I would keep it.

when did you stop taking your pill? have you been using condoms? just because he has had the snip DOES NOT mean that it is guaranteed that he will be infertile immediately, i have known of men who have taken up to a year to get back a clear sample, if you havent been using condoms, i think you should take a pregnancy test

mankyscotslass · 02/03/2009 12:11

I agree with Loopy.

It took DH nearly a year to get a clear sample after the snip, we had to be very careful until then.

Have you taken the test yet?

JumpingDizzy · 02/03/2009 12:12

no haven't taken it will do now though. yes we were careful. I don't know how I could be though if I've had periods?

Anyway off to take it.

Nope not pg Oh what a scare though, I was concentrating on the second window and the line appeared, almost fainted. It's the first one I should've worried about

Another scary thing I squeezed my nipples and fluid came out

I think I'll go to the dr if this carries on?

have you ever breast fed? i believe its normal for ex breast feeders to still be able to squeeze abit of fluid out.

JumpingDizzy · 02/03/2009 18:04

yes I did for both of mine could be that then?

loopylou6 · 02/03/2009 22:50

JumpingDizzy · 02/03/2009 23:21
