Getting rid of bloated feeling - quickly

Well this is hardly a dire problem but I am feeling really bloated and as if I need to poo after a night's heavy drinking and a curry(sorry gross!!). I haven't been drinking since I don't know when nor had a curry recently. I am also very "regular" (as me dear old mum would have said ) and have errr "been" today. I think it's premenstrual and the chickpeas in the tagine last night probably didn't help . The thing is I am going to a wedding tomorrow and my outfit is fitted but not tight except today when it feels really uncomfortable. I am short of time and money so getting another outfit is not an option. My wardrobe normally comprsies banana covered jeans and t-shirts so my wedding outfit is a one-off. Are there any quick fixes for bloatedness? As I type my stomach is growling like mad

watching with interest!

what about lots of water to "help things along!!" i know with water retention, drinking more improves it. i know that peppermint tea can help aid digestion, but not sure if thats immediatly after eating....

in short...i don't know!!! lol.

hope someone better comes along. have a fab time at the wedding.

Drink hot peppermint herbal tea in litres and don't eat anything at all.

I find that aloe vera gel capsules work well, I use these to get rid of the bloated feeling, they also help to 'clear you out' a bit which can help the tummy situation.

You need the gel capsules rather than the leaf ones though, have only seen then in health food shops.

gave a great time at the wedding!
