TMI - anyone else vomitting/squits bug with horrific eggy burps/farts ?

Woke up at 3am with horrid churny tummy and indigestion feeling. Then burped the most hideous eggy/sulphur burp and shortly after was sick. Stuff out the other end smelled very similar and even more eggy. What is happening to me...... ?????? Now feeling a bit better but still gassy. Sorry this is so GROSS.

Sounds like my dd.

She went off to bed on Saturday early evening feeling 'odd'. Threw up at 8pm and then fine. Ok on Sunday apart from terrible though infrequent eggy burps. She was ok this morning but (TMI) had very loose poo - no poo yesterday at all so I'm not too worried about that. She had lunch and tea yesterday and has kept it down ok and so far so good....dd2 was sick on Wednesday evening after an exciting day involving quite a lot of sweet stuff and dh complained of stomach discomfort on Friday night - but no d&V or strange burps. I haven't the least idea what's going on - just hope I don't get it!

ooh poor your mrsrecycle. If you have had this that long you deserve a medal. I wasn't feeling too bad but have just has more gas and bowels feel churny again. Northernlurker, how old is your dd ? I too hope you don't get it. Actually thinking about it DS (18 months) had really stinky farts last week and a runny bum. Hmmmmmm.

thanks mouse - my ds had the runny part last week but that's it. I am so hoping my dd's/dh don't get it too. My stomach is still talking to me now.

dd2 is 8, dd1 - she of the smelly burps is 10. Old enough not to throw up in bed unless taken very unawares thankfully!

You have my sympathy.. when I had D+V BUG a few months ago (first one in years and years, must be the new at pre-school effect) one if th e worst things was the horrendous eggy burps. Ive not been able to eat egg sandwiches since, or the curry I threw up

oldraver - poor you. I just struggled out to do some shopping and almost was sick when i saw some particularly eggy looking quiches. GROSS.
