How long is this flu lasting??

I woke in the night on Thursday night with a fever and I'm still struggling and feeling rather sorry for myself. No other symptoms really - just achey and sore and glands up etc.

Mine started last Tuesday and I'm still feeling rough. I've found I have a day or two when I don't feel as bad then the next day feel worse again.

Off back to bed again now. Am piggy-backing Ibuprofen and paracetamol. Does seem to take the worst symptoms away for a while. You have my sympathies it's pretty miserable. The sore throat is horrible.
