DS 2 had to go to hospital, it was a GA because complicated, good luck.

I have had teeth removed at hospital and at a special clinic. In the hospital I was given a general anaesthetic, and at the special clinic I was 'sedated'.

I don't remember anything about either of the procedures, but it was quite sore afterwards.

I had 3 wisdom teeth out in hospital, with general anaesthetic. In that case it was mostly because of it being 3 of them, but they can also do it there when they expect it to be a bit trickier than usual, maybe because of how the roots are. I had one out previously in the surgery and that was rather unpleasant. They must have had a reason for making it hospital - do you have a meeting with the hospital doctor or nurses before the op, so you can ask about stuff?

I had bottom 2 wisdom teeth out last month under GA at the hospital. In at 8, had operation about 12, was out at 2, face was VERY VERY swollen for 4 days afterwards- looked like desperate dan , went down completely after a week. Quite sort but managable with pain killers - esp disolvable co-codamol. Plenty of soft foods. You'll be fine.

I had some out in hospital. It was by choice because I was a wuss. I had GA.

I actually enjoy having GA [weirdo]

Unfortunately having them out in hospital can also have complications . But if the tooth needs to come out, then that's just something you have to accept. They don't usually suggest taking them out without some pretty good reasons.
