i started taking this last monday (had ds2 nov last year) as i went to the family planning clinic as was going to have the implant but they talked me out of it. I cant be on the combined pill as it gives me migraines and i seem to be particularly sensitive to hormones. I was on cerazette until i got pg with ds2 but had bad skin (spots) the whole time i was on it and the minute i got pg my skin cleared up. First of all the doc told me to take 2 pills at once as i said i REALLY dont want anymore children. I was late taking a pill i think was sunday night and today i am spotting slightly. Do you think this is because i was late with a day or because of just being on this pill? (btw me and dh arent exactly particulary passionate at the mo IUKWIM so not concerned!)
The doc told me to go on this pill as she was trying to convince me to have the mirena coil but i really dont want to have one of them. Anyway she said this pill is the same 'hormone' that is in the mirena coil and that if this pill suited me (mainly my skin) that i should reconsider having the coil later in the year. My skin is abit bad at the mo.. think it is starting to flare up...not sure what to do...
dh will be getting sterilised but there is 3 month wait and then you have to wait 4 months afterwards for the all clear so i have to do something for this year
