My ear does not ache, is not sore looking and has no dodgy wax. Yet, it has been ringing day and night and I have an unwell feeling in general. Could this be an ear infection?

It can also be caused by dental occlusion - grinding teeth.

Could you be suffering from Tinnitus? (Ringing in the ear). I get it. But I usually only notice it when it's quiet at night. It sounds like a humming and sometimes ringing sound. Docs don't really know what causes it but they say it can be due to ear damage due to loud noises.

If it carries on go to your doc for a diagnosis.
