He semi-collaped at work at 8 this morning. He rang me to take him to casualty but was in too much pain to get in the car so he went by ambulance. He has a severe, sharp pain in the right hand side of his chest wall which has a preliminary dx of PE - tbc in the morning with a dye test. He's had clexane and is on horse tablet sized painkillers and AB's.

I am 10 weeks pg with hyperemesis and have been feeling pretty shit myself for the past 6 weeks.

Both dh and I are at risk of redundancy - dh has been told on the quiet that his job is safe but we aren't sure yet about mine.

DH flies quite frequently for work so could well be screwed for a while. He's very worried about the effect this could have on his ability to do his job.

I'd just like it all to stop now please . Please come and say nice things to me.

hope things start improving soon tigerfeet, and you get to rest too. no good runnning yourself ragged and then collasping in an small heap too!

peachy, that is fab advice. you ought to post it on the pregnancy boards.....there are many women out there who need calm sensible advice from someone who has truely been there!!

DH seems better today, although that may be due to the fact he's off his tits on opiates

I don't know what to make of his treatment. For two days they seemed so sure he had clots in his lungs and possibly his legs too - then this morning they changed their mind. Then changed it back again at lunchtime. He's having scans etc this afternoon so we'll see.

Any update on the scan ?!?

TigerFeet · 19/02/2009 17:29

It's been cancelled

Just heard that he's being sent home.

Of course I'm glad he's well enough to be discharged but I can't understand why they spent so long being convinced he was riddled with blood clots and all of a sudden he isn't. They are now saying it's muscular.

The last few days have been awful and it seems it's all been for nothing.
