is it okay to give Medised for wind/diarrohea??
dd2, 18 months hasn't slept properly for days due to a bug - she isn't being sick anymore but suffering from terrible wind/stomach pains...
Would dearly love her (and me!!!) to have a good night's sleep which I know Medised will do, but don't want to irritate her tummy any more than necessary... Anyone know???

I don't think you're supposed to give Medised under 2years old so I wouldn't.

My Medised says suitable for age 3 month +. It says it helps to prevent sickness and aid restful sleep so I think you should be fine. I think it is more specifically for colds etc but we used it as pain relief at night while dd was teething etc so I think you will be OK. Again though I am no medical expert!
Hope she is better soon.

it's infant medised - it says on the box it's okay from 3 months onwards...

We had the exact problem recently, ds was 12mnth old. My GP said it was ok to give the medised, which we did and it didn't make things worse. In the end he had it every night (just once) for 10 days. Even now, if he is having a bad night due to wind/tummy ache, we give him medised instead of making the whole house suffer.
