3 month old teething - help!!!

My ds is teething at 3months, his gums are really white (but more at the back), he's trying to bite everything and screams to push things in his mouth, i've tried teething rings but some are too big and others too small, he'd rather chew on my finger, i'ver tried bongela, is there anything else i can try for his age, i've heard frozen carrots but he's too young i think for that

Hi, I swear by Nelsons Teething Powders, they are about £4.20ish for 24, they're homopathic and very safe, (even from birth) they help with the pain, upset stomachs and really sooth the baby! I've also tried Ashton & Parsons Teething Powders, these are very good too, but I think Nelsons seem to take effect quicker and you get more sachets in a box! Good luck!

They are fab.

Boots do Bickiepegs which are like a very hard long biscuit which has a ribbon to attach to clothes it will give them something hard to chomp down on and they don't easily get soggy. Not sure though whether suitable for 3 months you would want to check on the packet. Or a flannel dipped in ice cold water for them to chew on helps.

I looked into this when my DD was suffering from about 3-4 months. Bickiepegs are for 6 months +

I found that soft toys were good because they're easy for little hands to hold, and there's always and arm or ear of something that they can chomp down on.

The wrist rattle type toys are good too.

In a couple of weeks, you could let him chomp on a rusk - not quite as good as bickiepegs but it takes their mind off it

i have twins and bonjela didn't work for them either. We went to boots and got a liquid called anbesol. It can be used from birth and it worked a treat. its an antiseptic and anaesetic for the gums.

Boots own teething gel contains twice as much aneasthetic as others I have seen. I've tried their own brand homeopathic powder, but not Nelsons. I'll look out for that one!
