The best time to take antibiotics?

I'm all over the place today with dizziness, 4 days into a course of antibiotics for Sinusitis. First day I was a bit wibbly but today, about 4 hours after I took them I became horribly dizzy and "weird" eyesight. Do yu think it's best to take them after a meal? I took them at 8am on an empty stomach. DH thinks that could be the problem.
FWIW I am feeling 100 times better ie. the sinusitis!

I can't really call my GP because of a language barrier.

Any help or reassurance of this short weird feeling would be great.

I thought you were supposed to eat an hour either side of taking antibiotics.

Depends what antibiotics they are. Some should be taken on an empty stomach, some with food.

What are they and I'll check for you?

they are Tavanic levofloxacin. All the instructions are in German. By the time I finish translating the leaflet the course will be over!

You can take them with or without food. It lists dizziness as one of the side effects.

thanks everyone. Good job I only have two days left of the antibiotic course!
