Help re womens problems with spasms

Hi this is the first time have completed an brand new thread, but I was wondering if anyone can help with advice, bit embrassing but here goes....

For a couple of months after my period has finished I have been having problems with going to toilet. I have bad bout of Diarhria (probably spelt wrong) and the follows days of problems with urinating.

I feel like I constantly need to go and that I am spasming. It's not Cystitis as I've had that before. Had antibiotics but did nothing, painkillers make no difference. It's got so bad I'm spenting hours on the toilet, due to the pain.

By mid afternoon syptoms seem to have eased, but as I've been back and forth to toilet all night (a new development),I'm exhausted!

I've had previous gyny problems and had a TVTO fitted last year but it wasn't the same problem.

The other embrassing description is... it feels like an orgasism type spasm to begin with but then carries on to be extremely painful.

I'm off to drs tomorrow but I wondered if anyone else had experienced something similar?

Sorry this thread is long and very descriptive.

Never experienced anything similar but didn't want you to go unanswered. You are doing the right thing by going to the GP. Is it possible the TVTO has moved into the wrong position and is pressing on a nerve?

don't know, but thanks for answering, was wondering if I'd posted wrong as it was the first thread I have started.

You did post it right, but if you do post and no-one answers, don't fret, you don't have to bump it. A lot of us go through the unanswered threads list on a regular basis and try and help if we can

Found this online perhaps it's a similar problem?

MrsPurple · 08/02/2009 18:58

thanks, I'm going to ask GP to send me back to consultant (hopefully can fast track), as I'm in agony. It's six months since I had fitted (with coil and had 12 weeks of bleeding (had 6 days intermittently without bleeding).

Had severe mood swings and depression since. Had coil taken out and suffered bad blood loss for 5 weeks (huge clots).

Periods are as regular as clockworrk but blood loss is not consistent. Eiether loads or blink and miss.

Thanks for link
