GRRRR - Tell me how to get rid of my cough - Please!!

It's driving me nuts and I am going out tomorrow, and it will drive everyone else nuts too!

It's constant, it's making me croaky but my throat isn't sore.

I'm not bringing much up (sorry) and my chest is really tight, and it's making funny noises.

have tried Buttercup, Veno's tickly coughs, strepsils, Covena Chesty coughs, and the night time mix.

Read only the other day that taking a teaspoon of honey is just as good as expectorant. Might be worht a go

I was googling this yesterday and lots of people are raving about vicks on soles of feet ,apply vicks and put on socks .
Don't know if it will work but may be worth a go.

Don't scratch foot forhet than rub feet .

Why does the vick work on feet but not chest ?

A few glasses of Oyster Bay seems to be doing the trick for me...

Let me know if it works hope it does ,don't put it on before party heels will be ever so slippy with vicks on them and noone will reckon much to the perfume .

Well I tried vick on my feet for two nights and it did stop me coughing in the night - but not the day!
Got more meds, nice lady in Boots said try their chesty cough meds its got stronger ingredients than covona chesty meds.
have tried honey, and theb jelly cube, made no difference.

You might need anti biotics to clear your chest. Both dh and I have suffered with this phlegmy cough for weeks now and ab's were the only thing to touch it (I needed 2 lots)

My ds3 had a cough for about 4 days, passed it to me and 3 weeks later I'm still coughing and spluttering. It's disgusting, I need a good cough when I get up, when I go out in the cold and when I talk too long - half my friends think I've got consumption. It's a real bark and although I don't feel ill with it any more my ribs and chest hurt from the coughing. Loathe to go to the doctor because I don't think they can do anything, but it's driving me nuts! Moan, moan moan!!!
