I know it's normal in the belly as I had it last time too, but my coccyx and my spine up as far as my dimples is too. I had a GA both times so it's not from the needle.

Any sugestions?

Interesting. I still have numbness in my belly and as you said it is very common but I have never heard ofcoccyx and spine numbness. When did you have the operation?
Just bumping for you actually.

Hmm-I was numb up to my tummy button with dd1 and it took ages to come back but the numbness was all at the fron of my body.It is due to nerves being severed and they take time to regenerate.I would check with your surgeon about your numbness along your spine.

Was your section quite recent?

i had a numb back for some weeks after my section, which was also under GA. The feeling certainly returned within some weeks in the back area but nearly 7 years on my tummy is still numb!

CS was 2nd January. What I found odd this time is how itchy it feels took me awhile to work out that it was just how I'm interpreting the numbness.

I'd forgotten about the numbness, I guess I'd got used to it but now I remember lol!
