My periods used to be regular as clockwork before I had my DS (now 2.3 yrs). I breast fed him for 18 months, during which, I had fairly regular periods.
However, since stopping the BF, my periods have become very erratic with a gap sometimes of a couple of months. Also, I've had awful breast tension every day for the last 2 months which does nothing to help with my libido.
Anyone else had the same problem?
Is it just a general hormone imbalance or perhaps the perimenopause (I'm 42)? Should I be worried about the prolonged breast tension?
BTW, I'm not pregnant.
