What happens at your 6 week postnatal check?

I really can't remember having one with my older 2!

What happens?

nothing much at mine. gp just asked how i was. no actual examination. then he checked dd over, hips and joints and bits, like the paed does in the hospital.

they check your milage and your oil but thats about it.

Same as norah except I had an examination but I asked for one because i wanted her to check my stitches.
