Have posted many time under this name re my binge eating. Tonight ordered fast food. Have eaten half. Am watching an obesity programme on sky3, and I know I shouldn't be eating this.

I also ordered icecream, its in freezer. I know I should destroy it (melt it down the sink)

I am over weight, and I can't control my cravings if the food is in the house, I am better when I have to think about getting it (obviously times like tonight I do slip up)

I feel bad destroying perfectly good food but I know I need to don't I?

Justcanstop, I think we've chatted before actually.

I so sympathise with where you are right now. I know it probably won't help but, can you try to imagine how you'll feel if you pig out, and how much better you'll feel if you don't?

Having gone through (and got through) this kind of nightmare, I know that a fast food meal isn't a bad thing, but if you're trying to deal with binge eating, it's another kettle of fish entirely.

Can't be on line for long but just wanted to say...I do know how it feels...

Have you seen anyone about it? I can only speak from experience but it was only after I spent a year having help that I finally managed to address my eating issues....

Big big hug to you

You don't need to destroy it. If you really want it, then eat it. Then on Monday try to get some help for what sounds like a bit of a problem. I know what you mean, I've been pretty much the same tonight, despite being on the slimming world plan. I think it's a question of stabilising your blood sugar levels so that you don't keep getting cravings. I'm no expert, but I know when I'm sticking to my diet, preparing filling, healthy food that I don't get "the urge" to stuff my face like I would if I wasn't eating good stuff. I'd seriously have a chat with your doctor and see if he/she can help. I'm sure that you realise it's a problem for you, but people can help you. Please don't feel bad about yourself, as it will only make things worse. Eat whatever you feel like eating tonight, guilt free, but promise yourself you will go and talk to someone about it next week. Hope this might help a little

No food is bad in moderation. Why don't you mosey on over to the Paul McKenna weight loss thread and see if you like the sound of it if you are worried?

Good advice on here Justcant - I also forgot to say, the help I got was all through my GP and on the NHS - it's all there and costs nothing and it WILL help, go and see them
