threadworms??

I look after a little girl just once a week and her mum told me last week she has threadworms, which she was treating.

I told her not to worry as my DS1 has had them before and we would take appropriate measures etc.

Last night I woke up and felt a real wriggle from my bum No itch or anything and I got up and went to the loo, couldn't see anything, washed the area, changed PJ bottoms and went back to bed.

DS's say they haven't had any itches, I have checked DS2's poo but DS1 wouldn't let me as he's 10.

I have changed all the sheets, jama's, towels etc, am about to vacuum and damp dust, have sent DH out for Ovex.

Problem is I am 29 weeks pregnant so I can't take anyway. But now I'm wondering if it is worms or if it's just something to do with the baby moving as when the wriggly feeling in bum woke me up, baby was wriggling around like mad, not kicking, just squirming about.

What do you reckon?

I reckon taking hygiene measures probably was a good idea, no harm in treating your family etc, but bear in mind:

Wriggles from bums can be piles, a tiny bit of mucous leakage, a hair tickling, etc but put those together with knowing you've been in contact with someone who has/had worms, and you're going to get endless psychosomatic wriggles - at least, I did, and I was about the same stage of pg as you and am quite sure, looking back, that I never had them

I drove myself nuts with thinking I did though, and in the end the OB looking after me said I could take Pripsen Piperazine, as I wasn't first trimester and she thought that was absolutely ok. THe packet says 'check with your doctor', which obviously I had. So if you DO end up with evidence, you can ask yours for the same...but you may very well not have them.
