Reality Check....is this worth a GP visit? (possible TMI)

I have a bad back,a have also had a bladder repair (TVT)

I woke up this morning (& the last 4 mornings) with a terrible pain in my lower back, very crampy & on the right hand side.

I do a wee and it eases, then about 10 minutes later I do another wee and I can move more easily. After about 2/3 hours the pain is gone.

So is it just my bad back (pain different & in a different place) or is it a kidney/waterworks problem?

I can't make up my mind & I hate wasting the GP's time (been living at the surgery since about September)

It sounds waterworks related Katy. The fact that it eases after you wee is the give-away.
I would go and see the GP.

I went this evening - to the walk in centre

I turned the strip every colour of the rainbow

So I am on Trimethoprim - only 3 days worth which tbh on previous experience won't shift it (but hopefully I can feel better until I get to see the GP
